Renaissance Program History
The mission of "Renaissance" is to acknowledge the educational achievements and outstanding contributions of the students, staff, and school patrons of Rock Creek Jr/Sr High School through a process of reinforcement, recognition, and reward. The name "Renaissance" was chosen simply because of its definition "rebirth, renovation, refurbishment, and renewal." This program was developed by Jostens, Inc. and is adapted to Rock Creek Jr/Sr High School.
Our goal is to motivate students to improve academically, while rewarding improvement and service to the school community. Students will have the opportunity to earn a card each semester and the privileges of membership. Three levels of cards will be given based on academics, attendance, and attitude.
